Trombone Cadenza

Program Note

This fun cadenza is for the trombone section, but can be adapted for many others! It is based on the Alan Baylock piece "Torque." This features a killer groove with an original solo. Though the solo is written out feel free to add your own licks or turns to it. If your band is in the stands and needs something motivational (and is tired of Sonic Boom) bring out this cadenza and watch the crowd groove along. It is short and very repetitive so it is quick to memorize and very adaptable.  Let the groove rock on with Cadenza!
